This course covers the practical use of pilotage and passage planning by day on coastal waters using both traditional and electronic navigation techniques.
During the two days you will also cover more advanced boat handling, boat preparation, man overboard. You will also plan and make a short coastal passage by day. It is recommended for anyone considering moving on to the Advanced course.
Assumed knowledge: Boat handling to the standard of the Level II course with a coastal endorsement.
Duration: 2 days.
Minimum Age: 16
Ability after the course: Able to plan and execute a short coastal passage by day.
Suitable for: Adults who are wishing to enhance their personal skills and are intending to explore coastal waters with their family. It is also a great course to prepare you for your Advanced course.
