RYA Start Motor Cruising
RYA Start Motor Cruising on our steel workboat.
This 1 day course is an introduction to motor cruising with the aim of developing you to become a competent crew member, and able to assist with helming. The course is a great way for friends and family to become a useful crew member on board a vessel.
This course can be attended at one of our training centres in either Kinlochleven in the Scottish Highlands or on your own vessel. We can also run this course on commercial vessels and workboats too.
Course Fee: £250
Minimum charge is for 2 persons. For each additional person there after is a charge of £200. Maximum of 4 people.

Course content: Boat preparation for going to sea, boat handling, types of craft, engines and drives, engine operation and maintenance, safety and seamanship, ropework and man over board.
Ability after the course: Able to crew a motor cruiser on familiar inshore waters.
Suitable for: Adults and children who are wishing to gain experience and safety advice for going afloat.
