Lantra Training Courses.

iPowerboat are currently working towards the development of Lantra courses to meet the operational requirements of organisations within the aquaculture industry. Our objective is to provide a leading training organisation, that offers maritime, plant, H&S, lifting training courses as well as audits and advice which are delivered to a superior standard.

This has arisen after a close customer of ours requested iPowerboat to provide a 1 stop shop for all things aquaculture.

The company has already made a significant investment towards this by purchasing a Manitou 741 telehandler. We are creating a bespoke operating area at our Kinlochleven training facility that allows aquaculture staff to obtain a telehandler licence in an environment that suits mimics their operations.

Our next step in this process is to be granted Lantra approval status.

In due course, we also intend to offer sea crane and capstan, and confined space entry training courses.
