MCA 1-Day Fire Safety Course.

We're delighted to announce that at the end of April 2024, iPowerboat are now running MCA 1-Day Fire Safety courses that meet the requirements for Workboat Code 2, Code 3 and MCA Boatmaster (BML).

This course now means that iPowerboat are the only organisation in Scotland that can provide all training to meet the manning requirements of Workboat Code 3.

For workboats under 15m, at least one person shall be trained on board. For workboats over 15m, all persons on board must be trained to this standard or above.

We have specifically designed our course to suit crew operating on vessels under 24m. The teams knowledge and expertise are at the forefront of this sector. This ensures that not only do you get certified, you also get fire safety training, which includes a practical fire safety exercise that is suitable to you and your vessel.
