Powerboat Experiences.

  • At iPowerboat, we’re passionate about getting people on the water with a difference. As our team are renowned marine training instructors, we’ve created an experience that allows you to helm a performance powerboat on Loch Leven under our guidance.

    The experience will cover planing speed manoeuvres as well as low speed technical challenges too.

    Overall the experience will last 1 hour.

  • Powerboating is an activity that does use fuel, and considerable amounts of it too.

    The price of our experience is;

    1 hour experience - £120.

    Additional passenger - £10 (places are limited, so please contact us to discuss)

  • We only offer our experiences between April and October (summer months) each year. Our experiences have limited availability, so early booking is recommended.

 FAQs

 

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your experience. This will allow us to process everything to allow maximum time on the water.

  • It is always a bit colder on the Loch, so we recommend bring warm clothes and waterproof clothing - it is the Scottish Highlands after all! We will provide you with a life jacket as well as other safety equipment.

    We also recommend wearing some waterproof boots or wellies, as your feet can get a little bit damp.

  • Yes, the nature of our activity is about travelling over the water quickly. However your speed will be dictated by numerous factors such as sea state, visibility and other water users to name a few. When it is safe to do so, your instructor will allow you to travel at planing speed.

  • No. Smoking is not permitted on our vessels due to the quantity of fuel carried.

  • We recommend against this due to the nature of our vessel layout. Your experience will be hampered by having your dog onboard.

  • Yes, that is no problem. However please use these at your own risk. We cannot be responsible for any lost GoPro’s or other cameras over the side.
