New Team Member.

Sean Jameson, powerboat instructor and all round great guy has joined the iPowerboat Team and is a welcomed addition. We’re confident Sean will slot in perfectly within our close nit team, if not improve it, with the skill sets that he can bring to the table.

Sean is a windsurfing guru! If you see someone windsurf off the beaches near Oban in December - it’ll likely be him! Having managed an RYA Windsurfing centre in Greece, Sean may be new to our team, but he is experienced in our industry. After settling down with family, Sean had spent his time during the COVID pandemic working on fish farms. Those who know what we do here at iPowerboat, will know that his teaching experience, coupled with his knowledge of fish farms and work boats, makes him perfect to help Ryan and the team improve the skills, knowledge and safety of all of those that work within the aquaculture sector.

“Sean has joined us full time as an RYA Powerboat Instructor, and iPowerboat are delighted to be providing this opportunity whilst in the middle of the global pandemic. It really is great to see iPowerboat evolve out of the tail end of a recession, and now through a pandemic. It concretes our position within the industry and is a genuine test of the relationships we have built with our dedicated customers over what is now nearly 10 years.

As a company, we are committed to “fair pay”, and for a long time, the maritime training industry suffers from low pay. iPowerboat seek to change that by offering permanent, long term positions, with a clear pathway of further progression available.

We have further growth planned for 2021/22 and beyond. There is a likelihood of further position becoming available in due course.”

Ryan Tozer, Managing Director & Centre Principal.
